2010 ARBA CONVENTION
Welcome to Lone Star Rabbitry. My belief is quality should come before quantity. For this reason I keep a rabbitry of only 33 holes. I specialize in BEW (Blue Eyed White) Netherland Dwarfs. I am a members of the American Rabbit Breeders Association, American Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Breeders Association, and the Texas Rabbit Breeders Association. I recieved my ANDRC Charted Breedrs certificate in 2008. A charter breeder certificate is awarded to breeders who over a period of 3 years have shown excelence in showing with there animals. In January of 2009 I also became a licensed rabbit registrar with the ARBA. If you are looking for a registrar to work a show or for your personal rabbits please feel free to contact me at LoneStarRabbitry_yahoo.com or leave me a message at (903) 297-2828.
For the past two years we have had the honor of being recognized by the ARBA as one of only a few breeders to produce 5 or more registered Grand Champions each year. As of May 2008 we have produced 10 registered Grand Champions in the last two years.
Lone Star rabbits are not only able to compete at National level show, but have proven to be at the top of their game. At the ANDRC 2007 National Show in Ventura, CA GC Lone Star's Impressive won Best of Variety with GC Lone Star's Cutie winning Best Opposite Variety . At the 2008 ARBA National Convention , Grand Rapids Michigan Lone Star's Supper Star turned heads when he won Best of Variety, Best Jr. of Variety, Best Jr. of Group and Best of Group! Then at the 2008 ANDRC Nationals we made a clean sweep of the BEW variety winning Best of Variety with GC Lone Star's He's a Keeper, Best Opposite Variety with GC Lone Star's Beauty, Best Jr. of Variety with Lone Star's Impressive Elagance, and 1st place Jr. buck with Lone Star's Truly Impressive. 2010 ARBA Convention Lone Star's Prity Fly 4 A wht Guy won BOV and his sister GC Lone Star's Indulgence won BOSV.
I was told when I started "Your wasting your time with BEWs, you will never be able to beat the REWs & Otters, it's just impossible." I have BEWs doing the impossible all the time! BEWs are one of the most challenging colors to raise but, are well worth the effort. If you are considering getting started in blue eyed white Netherland Dwarfs you will find a lot of good information here. If you have any questions or if I can help you in any way let me know, I will be happy to help.
