This is the gost town of Singapore, MI. On October 8, 1871 the town, became one of the casualties of the four great fires (Chicago, Holland, Peshtigo, and Manistee) that ravaged the northern midwest. Its ruins now lie buried beneath the sand dunes.

This is the fish ladder located on the Grand Rapids River. This functional piece of artwork, designed by the artist, Joseph Kinnebrew, provides a practical application as well as an aesthetic pleasure. Designed to allow migrating fish a means of circumventing the powerful water flow at the man-made rapids in the Grand River, this popular site allows visitors to watch fish jump up the "ladder" in a seasonal migration in the spring and late summer. |

The last show of 2006 was on December 31, 2006 in Malvern, AR hosted by the Central Arkansas Show Rabbits Assn.
Lone Star's Impressive ( Left ) was Best of Breed earning his 1st leg and Lone Star's Woogie ( Right ) received Best Opposite Sex of Breed and her 2nd leg under judge Don Mersiovsky. Impressive is still just a Jr. at only 5 months old, and Woogie has just come back to the show table after having her last litter.

Meridian, Mississippi's claim to fame is The Dentzel Carousel, a national landmark from 1909. This was located in a building right behind the rabbit show. It is a beautiful piece of art work. All the animals are the original wood hand carved and painted. All the hoses tails are real horse hair. You just don't see things like this any more! Check out this link for or more information on The Dentzel Carousel. It was very neat to go to a show AND get to see this too!

He is called to the table and Tex tells him what he has been waiting to hear for years, "The Standards Committee is pleased to announce the unanimous passing of the broken Netherland dwarfs final showing! " Jamie can hardly contain himself and the whole showroom bursts into massive applause!
