Some one once said "Imitation is the greatest form of flattery" they were wrong!
It has come to our attention that there may be some people out there putting our rabbitry name "Lone Star's" in front of rabbits that have not been bred by us. We have worked very hard to improve and produce quality BEW Netherland Dwarfs. We do not appreciate anyone who would do this and find it to be highly unethical. If the rabbit was not born in our barn you do not have the right to put "Lone Star's" on the pedigree before the rabbits name. We encourage anyone who buys or breeds to a rabbit with the Lone Star name to contact us with the ear number. We will be happy to help you verify that the rabbit did come from us, free of charge. To help avoid imitations make sure:
*The ear number on the pedigree matches the ear number in the rabbit. None of our rabbit ever leave here with out a tattoo number.
*That your pedigree is print in full color with the Lone Star Rabbitry logo as a water mark.
*Do not accept a black and white pedigree or a pedigree that say COPY ONLY on it.
* Do not accept a pedigree that is printed on plain white paper. We use a special paper every time we print a pedigree.
*Do not accept a pedigree that is not hand sign with my signature.
If you find a rabbit bearing the Lone Star name that you believe to be a fake please contact us, we would like to know.
